Feng Tay Reinforces Sales Channels in Taiwan, China
Taipei, June 22, 2009 (CENS)--Despite the global downturn, Feng Tay Enterprise Co., Taiwan`s leading footwear manufacturer, is strengthening its sales channels in both Taiwan and China.
Wang Chien-hung, president of the company, indicated that Feng Tay sells products in Taiwan and China via its three affiliates--Rich River Co., Ltd., Shanghai Wanghomg Trading Co., and Fujian Wu Feng Department Store Co., Ltd.; with the former handling Taiwan sales and the latter two in China. The three firms sell not only Feng Tay`s own branded products, but also world-leading brands.
Shanghai Wanghomg and Fujian Wu Feng both achieved modest profits last year, while Rich River experienced a slight deficit. Wang said that the three firms, defying the global recession, achieved relatively stable operation last year and would see better business this year.
Rich River distributes Feng Tay`s two shoe brands in Taiwan, one of which is "Tempting" for women and the other is "@fit" for men. Besides, the company is also the agent for the U.S. brand Born in Taiwan.
Fujian Wu Feng operates a department store in Fujian Province and is the agent of the U.S. brand "P&G" in China. Shanghai Wanghomg is the major sales channel for "Sense 1991," Feng Tay`s popular women`s fashion footwear, as well as selling a variety of miscellaneous items.
Moreover, Feng Tay is Nike`s important contractor in Asia and turns out only sports shoes, but also accessories and golf equipment. Golf equipment is Feng Tay`s new line.
